Right, since this is a blog about goals and self-improvement I might as well link to my Day Zero Project profile! :)

My Introduction
So. While I have created many blogs before, none have been quite like this and I've certainly never done something like this before! So this is all a first for me on many fronts.
What, you may ask, am I talking about, exactly?
Well, basically, it works like this: This summer, I would like to work to make myself a better person in some ways - breaking bad habits and the like - and I figured that I would make a blog to record my progress in. Having the blog here, online, might help motivate me more because it's not just me watching my progress, like in a diary or whatever - it could be anyone! x3 That does sound kind of scary, ahaha, but I don't plan for this blog to get too popular. :P
Anyway, I go by two names. Online I'm Amber, but that is just a pseudonym. In real life I am Louisa. Feel free to call me either one... I don't particularly care which, ahaha. x3
I have a few ideas for goals already:
- become less of a procrastinator
- become more of a morning person / get up earlier
- STOP biting my nails
- complain less
- complete Camp NaNoWriMo in August this summer (50,000 words, yo!)
Become less of a procrastinator
All my life, pretty much, or as far back as I can remember in my schooling years, anyway, I have been a procrastinator. I consistently leave things until the last minute to get them done, and although I have always gotten very good grades in all my classes, it tires me out! I'm sick of procrastinating all evening and then staying up until 1 or 2 in the morning to finish a project. Absolutely sick of it, because then I take a nap the next evening, want to chat with my friends and I lose the whole evening again! >.>; (Speaking of which, right now I am procrastinating on studying for my impending Math exam, which is tomorrow. Ahaha, perhaps I should add "become less of a hypocrite" to my list...? :P) I want to get out of that habit, desperately, in fact, but sadly it's not as easy as just saying that you'll become less of a procrastinator. :/ Old habits die hard!
Become more of a morning person / get up earlier
Okay! So lately I have been enjoying the mornings quite a lot! The dawn hours are really precious in that they're just kind of silent and it's easy to feel like you're the only one in the world - or, at least, the only one awake! I call the mornings 'magical' (oh, what a hopeless romantic I am x3) and often people assume that I just mean the view, because, let's face it, those sunrises are pretty nice. Well, they're part of it, but not the whole thing! The kind of feeling that I'm talking about requires all the elements to be present! Anyway, while I do love staying up until 4 AM at night, then I'm always exhausted if I have to get up early and in summers of years past I would often stay up until close to 4 or 5 AM in the morning and then I would wake up around noon or even 1 PM in the afternoon! Therefore, I will probably go to bed earlier so that I can get up anywhere from 6 - 9 AM in the summer mornings. Preferably 6, although I may have to stay up late with friends if they want me to so perhaps 9 is more viable. x3 This goal is directly tied in with 'procrastinate less'! Ahaha! x3
STOP biting my nails
It's a terrible habit of mine, so I want to stop. XD
Complain less
Basically every word that comes out of my mouth can be a complaint sometimes! I'm quite the drama queen, aha. :P Hell, even when I'm happy, I'm still complaining - albeit good-naturedly! Ahaha! x3 Anyway, I have no real plans for how I'm going to achieve this yet, but stay tuned. XD
Complete Camp NaNoWriMo in August (50,000 words!)
This one speaks for itself! ;D
